The Patriots pick at #4 wasn’t an exciting skill player selection, but I’m happy they picked a trench warrior to protect their future franchise quarterback’s blind side. It doesn’t matter how good a team’s QB is if he is constantly running for his life. Go Pats!

Well, I care, I like football. At age 18 I got a college weekend job as a security guard with the Chicago Bears guarding the 50 yard line camera-man (Green Bay Packer games too, sometimes). I was also a pretty good wide receiver though not gifted.

Sure beats hearing about wars and politics all the time.

My paternal grandfather's great nephew-- or, something like that--was the General Manager of the New York Jets until they ran him out of town. I met his family but never him. They lived near us at one point.
