Best outdoor small gas grill
Any recommendations for a gas grill?
I just need something small but good quality. Not looking for a lot of extras. I researched on Consumer Reports but didn't find any smaller type grills. Low/free delivery would be a bonus. TIA |

Weber grills are very good, check with ACE hardware, I think they have an assemble and delivery service.

They are made cheaper and prices are going through the roof. |
Our old propane grill became too cruddy to operate well. Did not want a large grill to replace so after a lot of research bought this tabletop grill with a small table. Grill was just over $100. Love it. Had all the features of a large grill and great quality. Stainless steel. Still fits 8 burgers and works just great. FYI.

Believe it or not I got a 2 burner Charbroil a year ago. It does fine. Not as refined as an older Weber but cooks fine. Lowes will put together and deliver.

Weber Q series. Find them on marketplace and give them a good refurb, or buy new. Q100 is smallest and lightest, then Q200, then Q300 has a stand available. Maybe it's a cart. Not sure, they've changed it a few times over the years. They use the little green propane jars you can most cheaply at Wally Mart. The nice thing is they have very solid cast iron grates, none of that weak wire grate when you're trying to sear a nice steak or breast of chicken.

I have a 1986 red kettle, and a newer 2013 black kettle (the one with the gray plastic handle and the metal "taco" shield under the handle). I have a Bush's Beans Smoky Joe, and I have a couple of the Q's. I have refurbished them all. It's not terribly difficult - maybe a day's project. A 33 gallon trash can with a bag and some oven cleaner is very helpful to work on the kettles. You can find out more, if you are a Weber fan, at the Weber Kettle Club webpage and/or Facebook page. |
I also have the Megamaster. Can’t beat it for price and quality.

Love our Weber Q with cart. It’s small enough to bring in during storms. Great if the power goes out or stove has a tantrum.

You can’t go wrong with the Weber Q series. They come in a few sizes and can be used on a table top or a portable rolling cart Weber sells. You will not have to buy another grill down the road, will be the last grill you will ever have to buy not to mention they do a great job of grilling. Bought mine at Home Depot over a decade ago.

We have a Weber Q1000 and love it. I also bought the optional stand and adapter for the 20lb tank. We've had it for 6 years and just this year replaced the burner.
