Complaint Department

So, what’s your beef? This is the complaint department. What’s bothering you? We’d like to hear it. All complaints will be listened to and given due consideration. You might even get “I’ve been there” or “sorry to hear that,” or maybe even a “poor baby.”

The only rules are 1) no complaining about complainers, 2) no political complaints, 3) no complaining about TOTV, and 4) no complaining about the OP.

I’ll have mine in a little bit, but feel free to start us off.

Ok, I'll start. You have too many restrictions/censorship in your request.

Traffic lights on 466A. Have to stop at almost all of them.

People with poor financial management skills with expectations that they can live solely on their Social Security checks who want a cap on amenity fees

Couldn’t get tickets for Savannah Banana’s vs Party Animals at Clemson tonight.

Sold out crowd 81,000. Who would’ve thought Entertainment Baseball was a thing

My beef. All the EXPERTS here. It’s fine to give your opinion on matters and perhaps quote facts. But, I tend to dislike those who must provide a thesis. Believing that the more words used will equal impressing those who must read through pages of text. Personally I do not take my time to read through. Succinct is good. Just like me, now, ending.

Not quite yet. Another dislike are those who simply just must make a word or two statement or worse, just an emoji or such.

Now I’m done.

Why is so popular it entertaining! Not watch pitcher warmup for 5 mins after he already warmed up in bullpen. Not have watch manager popping out after every walk threatening change pitchers starting process all over.

It is too far to go to see the "last" "Mission Impossible" movie in IMAX in Ocala or maybe Leesburg. Or? Do we have IMAX now at the Old Mill Playhouse?

Turning Right On Red

Is there no such a thing as a no-turning-right-on-red sign in this area? I was driving north up 301 a few weeks ago and I’m in the middle of making a left turn onto college road, or one of the roads going east-west. I have a left-turn green light and am turning with other cars behind me making the same turn. There’s a car going the opposite way on 301 making a right turn on red. Although he’s not supposed to do that, I’ve come to expect it and I’m sort-of OK with it. What upset me is that as soon as he turned right, he pulled into the left lane right in front of me and I had to put on the breaks and almost hit him. There were cars behind me that had to stop too.

It just seems like many drivers can't handle turning right on red.

Around here you have to plan for stupid drivers.

What do you mean "around here"? The percentage of stupid drivers is pretty much the same everywhere.

This getting old thing sucks. Wondering what part of the body is going to hurt the most when getting up tomorrow.

I do not get out much but it seems like there are more distracted drivers here in the Villages than other places I have been. Maybe because of all the activities the Villages offer. And the new things added.

Playing golf on an Executive Course for the first time in a longtime last week. Why does it seem that the cart paths are most often left of the fairway and my ball always seems to land to the far right (of the fairway)?

Last night was part of a fundraiser for foster homes. Some of the players are MLB farm team, some have been drafted by MLB. So there is talent. But first base ump dressed like a ninja doing backflip is entertaining for kids and nice night out.
Merch is also sold as fundraising.Tickets can start at $45 but if you look at other games some go for hundreds.
We were visiting with Our oldest in Greenville SC. Apparently fair amount of Clemson and Furman staff and students went to the game.

As a fundraiser it’s entertaining. As baseball there’s no rules.

Kind of like going to see the globe trotters, but for a good cause.

So complaint still stands couldn’t get tickets for Bananas vs Party Animals fundraiser :(
