New roof cost?

curious what people have been paying in the last 12 months for 2000SF house shingle or metal. Just getting price thoughts together. if you replaced more than just the shingles see if you can post without those extras.

Not sure where you live but be sure to contact ARC regarding the metal roof option, there have been several reports of these being rejected, and a few reports of being accepted. I am GUESSING the ones that were accepted were the type of metal roof that looks like traditional shingles. I also recall the cost of metal over traditional shingles was around twice as expensive. Finally, I would call my insurance company to see what their take is on metal roofing and policy renewals and possible discounts.

Assuming that was an insurance job. No way it should cost that much if one is looking for a routine replacement that does not involve a storm related claim and the abuse that happens on those occasions.

Eustis roofing quoted 16,000 and batterbeequoted $18,000 for 2003 foot plus garage and lanai roof I am just outside of the villages.
Both are very old reputable companies

Also remember if your roof needs extensive peaks or valleys, or extra plywood to be replaced they would be additional charges

33K?

Taken to the bank.

Last week, Batterbee quoted me (1400sq + garage & small lanai) 17k (Good), 19k (Better), 22k (Best). I'm still getting other estimates.

Try McGinnis probably 4 to 5 thousand cheaper than Batterbee.

UFFDA!!! That's a midwestern, Scandanavian exclamation for "what the heck"!! Covers a lot!
Anyway, those costs sound exhorborant for home-owners but guess I've been living under a rock.

Can anyone share their cost for replacing roof on a patio villa recently? Thanks!
