Gardenia: Walk-in shower to Roman Shower Remodel
We have a Gardenia, (2nd owners), getting on to 20 years old (Poinciana), and the tile and grout in the master bath shower is getting pretty beat up. A few tiles are cracked, some of the grout has degraded, and my wife and I were discussing the idea that if we were to call someone in to repair/replace/ refurbish the tile, maybe we should look into the idea of getting the Roman shower we had hoped to get in our home when we bought, but didn't.
Anyone out there in TOTV land have first hand experience to share with me on this idea? A few questions come to mind: 1. Will we lose space from other parts of the bathroom? 2. If relatively recently done, care to give me a ballpark idea on cost? 3. Recommendations for a remodeling company? 4. Any unforeseen regrets about how the project turned out? Thanks in advance. |
You will lose space because Roman showers need more space.
