New Police Cars

There are new police cars roaming in the southern end of the villages. What township are they from because they sure aren’t Sumter or Wildwood cars. They were just plain white with blue lettering that said police. Doesn’t the law mandate they be identifiable?

Heh not anymore. They're probably ICE. If you see a driver leave the vehicle, notice whether or not he has a face covering. If he does, it's most likely a deputized nobody working for ICE.

Could be Leesburg, they are bringing in a lot of new tax revenue and can afford new cars or maybe even Lake County.

It’s possible, maybe they haven’t finished detailing them yet. There was only a large blue stripe and the word police. They were a little out of jurisdiction though just south of Sawgrass.

DHS has deputized State Department investigators to assist ICE. NOT "a deputized nobody", they are federal investigators.

DeSantis announced on May 12 that more than 100 FHP troopers had been sworn in as special deputy U.S. marshals, giving them the authority to handle immigration cases—including apprehension and processing for deportation—without federal assistance. This designation also allows the troopers to execute federal warrants.

They are not federal investigators. They're basically deputized traffic cops.

Wow, what disdain for law enforcement officers! State Troopers are far more than "traffic cops".
