Might work for someone young and flexible like Scheffler, but not the average senior citizen. Folks our age need to taylor our swings to optimize results based on our ever increasing physical limitations.

Way over priced and limited in what it's design to teach.

Only thing going to help my golf swing is transplanted spine.

I feel that the only way for most of use to improve our swing / game it to have a one on one lesson. It does no good to watch a video and try to do the same thing.

You need someone to watch your swing. How much flexibility do you have? What is your swing speed? Strength? Etc. After watching you a pro can help you make minor changes then after you groove them into your game, take another lesson and make more minor changes.

The reason golfers are so much better today, than 20 years ago ...

The reason 16 year kids are qualifying for PGA Tour events, is they learned from watching videos of their swings and other's swings. It's the way the golf swing is learned these days.

The Blue Brick has a specific purpose. It's teaches swing path. Most every Pro worth seeing, will use the exact same techniques to teach swing path, as the BlueBrick does. The BlueBrick also purports to help teach impact position, although I question its value for that purpose.

It can do a reasonable job of doing what it was designed to do ... improve your swing path. It's not designed to teach you how to golf or how to channel Scottie Scheffler. There are numerous products out there, designed to do the exact same thing, for significantly less money.

No you don't want to swing like Scottie... you aren't built like him, you don't think like him. You want YOUR swing, whatever it is! And you want to swing in balance! The Blue Brick is good if you have swing plane issues, and you know what you want to ingrain in your. So buy it, and see. You have 60 days to decide. But you will never swing like Scottie!

Better Teaching is what has propelled the improvement in peoples golf games. Golfers are like snow flakes, everyone is an individual with certain mental and physic limitations. Seek out a PGA Pro and get better, one on one. Watching others videos and reading about others golf swings is a waste of time, only entertainment.

Years ago while giving a golf lesson, a fellow hitting balls nearby was groaning in pain. I asked him what was he doing. He pulled a wad of paper clippings from his pocket and said he was emulating Bobby Clampett's swing. I asked him how old he was and he said he was 75. I asked how old Bobby Clampett was. He said 20. We had a brief talk about the difference between 20 year old and 75 year old bodies until he trashed the wad of clippings.

The Blue brick is a gimmick. Jimmy Ballard used to teach inside path and sternum rotation 50 years ago. Evidently a descendant of his realized peoples fascination with golf toys and
created this item. Notice the name Clay Ballard on the website.

There is nothing new in the golf swing. The mechanics are the same, whats new is better teachers to convey the information to you. Get a one on one with a PGA Professional and improve your ball striking or just get some plastic and delude yourself. Pretty soon there will be another piece of plastic for you to try. It's your choice.

If you want to be good at golf, here are two things you should do:

1) swing path
2) 45 degree rule - hips open at 45 degrees and shoulder tilt at 45 degrees when you strike the ball

You can have a good swing path but without correct body rotation it's not going to matter since you won't be able to strike the ball consistently.

If you do the above, it's really hard not to be good at golf

You might try Steve Cornetta's golf swing classes. Look for them in the Sun newspaper. You can't beat $15 for you & the wife! Learn about being a "Leg Player!"

I found the greatest benefit to my game as my body grew a lot less flexible was to open my stance a little, and take a shorter back swing.
A lot less strain, and still kept my accuracy. Definitely you will lose a few yards in distance, but that was better than having to pack the game up.

That is untrue. Nearly everything that is known about the golf swing, has been learned in the last 15-20 years ... since the advent of cheap video.

TrackMan and ForeSight have taught golfers more about the golf swing and impact in the last 10 years, than anyone ever learned in the 100 preceding years.

Turns out, neither Ben Hogan nor Jack Nicklaus, knew how to make a ball "draw". They only thought they knew.

Ben Hogan's "5 Easy Lessons" is about as far from accurate, as a teaching method could be.

The best swing in golf, probably belongs to Nellie Korda or perhaps Adam Scott. Compare their swings to Scottie Scheffler, Ben Hogan, Jack Nicklaus, Johnny Miller or Jerry Pate (with the huge reverse-c).

There have been huge advances in understanding the golf swing. Many of which can be attributed to my friend Bobby Clampett and his understand of "impact", as described in his book, the "Impact Zone".

Perhaps the most important lesson of the last 20 years, is that your "golf swing" isn't very relevant. As Lee Trevino once said, "no one has ever hit a golf ball with his backswing". All that matters, is what happens within about 6 inches of the ball ... path, aim, direction, impact.
