Come down here and see our golf carts.

I think one of the most fun things about this place is the golf carts. They are as diverse as their owners and show their team colors, previous occupations, secret dreams and great taste.

Some of you are so good at posting pictures. Would you post some pictures of our great way to jaunt around this lovely place to the people who read this forum and haven't been here?

When did we get the ability to attach a photo?

Hey, I just noticed Bill attached a photo of his cart. This is a new feature? I have never seen that in the past.

Right, I have used this on other sites, but always thought it was disabled here at TOTV. Maybe I just missed it. Thanks

I don't have a picture of a golf cart, but I was trying out that link to add pictures. I don't see anything yet. OH There it is. Us G's at Christmas dinner. It WORKS.

Ummm Bill. How do you get it to print a bigger picture than a thumbnail. (Like you printed!)

LUCKY PUPPY! What a great way to take a larger pooch for a ride.....the wind in his face, the view, ahhhh, life is good!

ladydoc 02-07-2011 12:33 PM

What a great idea for transporting the furry kids!!!!! I am going to show this to hubby....

Hawkwind 02-07-2011 12:55 PM

I did see a gentleman driving a 4 seater cart with his golden retriever riding shotgun as proud as he or she could be. Head held high, catching the wind in it face. just having the time of it's life. The wife (assumed) was riding in the back seat holding on for dear life. A true classic and I did not have me camera with me.

Wait... the deal on your house didn't really fall through, did it? :cryin2:

Bob45 02-08-2011 12:01 AM

I don't have a pic, but I like the one that looks like a semi tractor. Even with duel rear axles.

No, it didn't fall through. Just feeling a little goofy tonight :girlneener:

Lucky puppies! So cute going for a ride!

ajbrown 02-22-2011 08:10 AM

Here is my other cart. For some reason my wife will not ride with me in it, I see nothing wrong, except my curfew is sunset :ohdear:

She would have to be beautiful...and sweet too, to be married to you. Please forgive me teasing you.

I love the picture AJ. My lab would have been in her glory.

lightworker888 02-22-2011 12:41 PM

K9-lovers, What kind of cart do you

have? We have an electric club car and are looking to create a place for our "kids" to ride in. I couldn't tell from the picture how you created the space for your 2.

Thanks
Joyanne

K9-Lovers 02-22-2011 01:26 PM

We have a Club Car with an added rear seat that flips down. We had a seatbelt installed for the rear seat.

Then, we use a dog bed that is designed for use in the back seat of a car to elevate those little ones up so they can see out the car windows. It works great for the golf cart, too. But, our cart seatbelt doesn't work so we strap the seat down using other means (bungee and straps). Then, the dogs wear their harnesses, and we bought grooming nooses to clip onto their harnesses and onto the metal bar of the cart and that holds them securely in the bed.

The bed is called a Snoozer Lookout Bed. Our dogs LOVE these beds to ride in the car/cart. They also make one that is narrow & meant for the car console, but you can put it between two people on the front seat of a golf cart (if you are both slender). The beds also have a hidden drawer for storage. They are carried at one of the holistic pet food stores here in TV, but I can't remember which one. Here is a link:

duffysmom 02-22-2011 02:56 PM

K9 thanks for the link. I like the console design. Never saw one before; I think it would work great for Duffy.:coolsmiley:

I was wondering if that was you I have seen you in the Mallory/Amelia "hood". After seeing you with your dog, I tried that with our dog Caly and there is no way she would lay there. I could see an accident in our future if I continued :).

Looks likes "Her Highness" is a great dog......
