Grandchildren visiting. Ideas?

My 3 and 7 yr. old G C are visiting for a few days. Any ideas besides our wonderful pools? (They'll love the golf cart too!)
Thanks,
Mammie

They can feed the ducks at the pond at Spanish Springs or near the gate to Glenview. Bowling is generally enjoyed by the children, but it might be difficult for the three year old. A few of the lanes at the Spanish Springs bowling alley have bumper rails that go up when the child bowls so no ball gets in the gutter. They also may like the movies and each theater has booster seats available at the front of each theater. They might also enjoy visiting some of the shops. Is it Carabongo in LSL that offers shirts that change color in the sunlight? When my grand kids were younger, they enjoyed picking out their own tees there. The squares are always fun, but watch the little ones. Lots of people and the kids could be easily separated from you.
Amazing Glaze also is a place where the kids can be artistic....painting their own piece of pottery. Takes a couple of days for it to be fired, but you can always ship it to them if it's not ready before they leave.

Have a great time with the kids, make their favorite breakfast, let them help and just enjoy each other's company. They'll enjoy spending time with you and might not even want to go out. Making cookies or doing art with grandma, even playing video games together is lots of fun.

My grandkids (3 and 7) loved Uncle Donald's Farm.

Gatorland is fabulous for kids and grown ups.
Homosassa Springs too. Both are an hour away.

Silver Springs is just up the road and should be pretty nice, but I've not been there yet. There are Florida resident discounts to all of these if you check around.

Silver Springs, the kids loved it more than Disney at those ages. Get the annual pass for yourself.
