Be on the watchout for solar panel sales people.
 

The person who comes to your door and wants to tell you about a survey is probably a solar power salesman or woman.


If they were straight forward about it I would not have a problem like saying they are selling solar power.

Electricity
 

Our electricity bill is cheap enough that I wonder why anyone would ever consider buying those things for their home.

We have a "No soliciting" sign on top of our door and the man knocked pretty hard. My Mom who has advanced Alzheimer's is usually sleeping in a room I can easily hear what she is doing. Next room over from me. I thought it was some kind of official Villages business and he started talking about a survey of the meter and related concerns. It took him a while to even mention solar panels.

We use the policy of “if we don’t know you” or “we’re not expecting you”, then we’re not answering the door.

Things are pretty non-eventful for us that way.
