shut off this annoying AI stuff that keeps showing up right in the middle of people's posts?

I understand the site is funded by advertisers but I agree that having them right in the middle of a post is really annoying

I see only the posts. My Firewalla router has built in malicious and ad blocking capability that i have enabled. It can not block everything on all sites, but it seems to block all ads on this site except for posts (like sky roofing) that are actually ads

Sky Roofing and others are sponsors (advertisers) and should be able to post.
Without them no TOTV.

I use "Noscript", which is a browser add-on that turns off javascript. I never see stuff like that, but it does break a lot of sites. You can selectively turn it off on a site that you trust. It also has an option to allow scripts that originate on the top-level URL that I chose to see, but block all 3rd-party scripts (ie ads).

I don't use it to hide the ads, but for security. Hackers can't steal your stuff unless they can run their code on your device, which is exactly what javascript is.

They make it obvious that it’s AInwith it being a different color. I just ignore it and keep scrolling.

I don't see any AI stuff, but I use the free Malwarebytes Browser Guard. I allow Ads but deny malware and scams.

AI = Annoying interruptions

there are 2 ways to do it successfully.

1) stay off all social media
2) and get rid of anything listening in your house (note the AI ads on TV you ddn't mention)

why? because the dimwit IT help these places hire these days have the skills of a turnip.

I use Duck Duck Go and don’t see any.

Download AdBlockPlus. Never see another ad on TOTV. Works on all sites, although some may ask you to turn it off.

I have an ad blocker. These are not ads.
