Last time we played Oakleigh it was in poor shape .

I’m happy to report that the conditions have greatly improved over the the past 4 months . I’m sure that the reason is a combination of rain and the efforts of the maintenance team.

Some of the greens still have an issue with what looks like to be a disease. It seems that they are working on the issue and the way the greens are mowed and rolled , these areas don’t have any effect on the putts .

Everything else is nice and green , tee boxes are in good shape and the fairways are also in good shape.

The course has a nice layout with difficulty level dictated by the tee box chosen

While considering the good and bad, I feel that the course deserves a B rating.

Happy to report the Oakleigh course finished it's final aerification for the summer season starting today. As for the condition of the greens they are now the oldest original greens in The Villages. Yes every year we see a warm weather contamination, if sprayed too aggressively they'll expire. We have found a balance until we renovate the course in 2027.
