fEB 2026 RENTAL WITH POOL

I am looking for a 1 mo. rental of a private home with a pool for the month of February 2026.
Would like access to a golf cart and be close to a town center.
Wife has mobility issues so single floor preferred
2 people in their seventies
Rental on a yearly basis possible
Snow birds from N.H.

Good Luck

We only stayed if there was a pool. Our best deal was the Brownwood Hotel and Spa. It was 4,000 a month, had a pool, golf cart accessible and they took care of everything. Very nice!

That’s a Great Deal

That’s a great deal. The towels get changed out daily and someone cleans my room too.

Hotel Eastport

Hotel Eastport will be a short vacation for us. I see some rentals at 10,000 dollars a month and just laugh when it’s so much cheaper to stay in luxury for a fraction of the price.

OP you should check with some of the rental websites for your February stay. Hometown Property Management is one - you can't filter "pool on site" but you can call them to see if their listings have any. Currently there are 19 homes available for February on that site.

On Rent From a Villager website, there's only one property advertised with a private pool, in Moultrie Creek, but it's over $13,000 for the month of February. Three bedrooms, handicap accessible. WAY WAY overpriced in my opinion.

Villagershomes4rent has 9 listings for properties with private pools, including the one in Moultrie Creek. Because this is the height of Snowbird Season, rent prices will be higher than any other time of year. In addition, availability will be at the lowest, because it's "Snowbird Season" which means MOST renters will have already been there since September or October, and won't be giving up their rentals until March or April.

Staying in a decent hotel will probably be the better deal, however you specified you were looking for a private home. So my advice to you is to either have a LOT of money to spend on a private home with a pool during the height of snowbird season, OR change your expectations and look for a hotel for that month instead.

The hotels are golf cart accessible in Sumter Landing and Brownwood. You can also save if you want to visit the nearby beaches for a week or two. You have to pay rent for a home no matter what, even if you go away for a few days. If you rent a hotel room, you have many more options than a home rental.

The weather in central Florida during February can be unpredictable. There's numerous days that do not feel tropical. If you're just renting with no intention of buying and want consistently warm weather than South Florida's climate is a better choice.

I have used Vee Are Bee Oh and Airbnb with good success. You can filter for all sorts of things.

Yes, it’s freezing and very windy here in February. Maybe just a hot tub would be enough?

Plus by then the Eastport hotel should be open.

I agree that sounds bad, but not sure if it is truly out of line. There are 4 designer homes that are renting for $5,000 a week starting in December through the end of February in my neighborhood that are booked solid, so that would work out to $20,000 a month. There are some weeks open in March and April where the rent drops down to $4,000-$4,500.....and then down to their normal rate of $1,500-$2,000 over the summer.
