They without question are Good, however they need to be Excellent for the $$$$++ for me they simply are not worth it.

Walmart & Fresh Market have similar, not as fancy but decent. Publix are a waste of time.:spoken:

Try Red Rooster Cookie Jar in Lady Lake. Small store, owned by local woman, makes great cookies and does local neighborhood social presentations. Well worth checking her out

We have been a big fan of Gideon’s in Orlando since it opened in 2016. Then opened in Disney Springs.

Gideon’s has 6-7 base cookies available everyday. They weigh 6oz are well formed thick cookies. A special cookie available monthly. Have never had a cookie, cake or cold brew that you didn’t want more. Cookies are $6. There is a limit at Disney Springs of 6 at times.

Crumble changes cookies every week. Some ok some not really worth bringing home. Their cookies are 4-4.5oz thin to medium body, price range just under $5 with up charge for some items. Problem with Crumble you get a discount on larger purchases, but I rarely find a week that I like more than one or two flavors.

If our family visits I drive to Gideon’s.

It would be nice if the city of Wildwood would work to get a legal crossing for golf carts in that area. There is no incentive for the Villages to do it but I would certainly patronize Culver's, Crumbl, First Watch, and Lowes more often if I could get there by cart.

I haven't had a chance to try a Crumbl cookie yet.

No golf cart access? That's a pain .

Excellent cookies aren’t that hard to make. In the time it takes to go to a store and buy the cookies, you would be half way through making a batch. Besides, we are retired with lots of time on our hands. I know this because you are taking the time to read this forum!

In the time it takes me to go to the store and buy a cookie I would be eating the cookie, not half way through making a batch. (and you didn't consider the time it took to go to the store to buy the ingredients)

There is something nice about purchasing the number of cookies I want to eat rather than storing over a dozen for later.

And why can't you drive there?

I prefer the homemade cookies in our house with some left for the cookie jar and they freeze very well for later.:icon_hungry:

If you haven't tried this yet, freeze the dough before cooking. Takes a little longer since you have to cook it first but it will be warm and taste fresher.

Or I could walk, or I could take an Uber, or I could order Uber Eats, or I could ask my neighbor to pick some up for me.....

There are any number of ways to get there but it would be more convenient if my preferred way was an option.

Is there a new Outback Steakhouse around there? I also heard about a new Target?
