My lawn service company has disappeared
 

Been 2 weeks since they cut my grass, and I'm due for a shrub and bush trimming. Not returning my calls. Not going to mention the company, but if you know of a dependable service that works in Buttonwood, please mention them.

Very common is TV especially in the summer, and ones that want prepayment. After our 9th lawn guys in 8 years disappeared, we bought an ego and mowed our own lawn. That lawn took us over 2 hours to mow. Pretty lawn just too much to deal with. We sold and bought same size lot, built larger house and added a pool. Lawn now takes 30 minutes.

I’ve got a dependable landscaper but I’m not going to mention it.

Same lawn service provider for over 10 years.

Never heard of any of my neighbors losing providers...............I don't think it's common at all.

Many of my neighbors have lost or changed providers for a variety of reasons, one is poor service & being overcharged.

So with that it is Very Common as in " Very ". :shrug:

Undocumented Workers
 

Undocumented workers are becoming a very small lot. Perhaps your company relied on that manpower?

Re-read the poster's comment......................my response was providers DISAPPEARING, not lost or changed providers.

We had the same guy for 8 1/2 years, but unfortunately he developed health issues and had to retire. He called and gave us notice so we could find another service provider. We’re going on 2 years with the new service (a couple in their 50’s) and are very happy with them and hoping they keep the business running for many more years. The couple that does our lawn now parks in front of a retention pond and proceeds to service several homes up and down our street.

There a LOT of quality people in Florida................"you" jus got'a find them.
