Leaking pipe identity help
1 Attachment(s)
I discovered a wet area in my side yard. Started digging and found two side byside pink pipes about 3/4 inch dripping water. Can anyone tell me anything about them or who I should call?
Thank you |

Any plumber or a good handyman can fix it. |
Could that pink be a shade of purple used for reclaimed water irrigation systems? Not sure what other pvc would be running through your yard.

If they are not irrigation pipes, my only other guess would be the HVAC condensate drain and the water heater overflow drain. The condensate drain would always be draining in the summer, but the water heater overflow drain would be dry most of the time.

Furniture grade comes in many colors including purple |
It's an irrigation pope
Turned off the water at irrigation meter, leak stopped. Call placed to several repairmen. Thanks for all replys.

They wouldn't bury a AC drainage pipe

PINK pipe, is "furniture grade" pipe, and typically used for "decorative" purposes. It is not a standard color for irrigation or anything else. PVC or Polyethylene both have "color codes" and should only be used for their designated purpose. Anyone who uses the phrase "in all of The Villages ....", needs to get some more experience in TV. Things change all the time. Construction, materials, restrictions, etc. |
