Help repairing birdhouse B&B

Found our 20 year birdhouse in the yard off its post with roof in shambles and need to put “Humpty Dumpty back together again”. Probably easier to toss and buy again but this one is special, where could I find a birdhouse carpenter that could restore roof and base, help!

Was the roof metal or wood? You might be able to get someone at the local woodshop to make the necessary pieces, but I would carefully check the rest of the bird house for damage. If the roof was metal this would be more involved. If I still had my table saw, I would volunteer, but it is long gone.

What was the roof design? Octagonal pyramid? What pieces are remaining? I get it, it's sentimental. I'm sure someone can easily repair it if they knew what they were getting in to.

Octagonal pyramid, today a friend suggested a squirrel proof piece for roof, newel post survived, not sure how to put this together, any suggestions are greatly appreciated, like the idea of metal roof, maybe it will survive Fla weather.

That looks like bird feeder to me with all holes in bottom? If you got nesting BBs in that all I can is wow.

Over and above my outhouse design BB houses :undecided:. The roof was probably 1/2” craft wood like get at Lowe’s in planks I would imagine? Craft wood not cheap? Simple hand saw can cut easily if you have old wood for pattern? Then tac it together.

I made all my BB boxes with 1 (3/4”) inch wood with similar hand saw.

We bought in NC , builder called it a Bed & Breakfast, you can imagine my surprise when discovering that it fell off post and roof literally collapsed into many pieces, hoping to revive with a metal roof so it will survive fla weather, just not gifted in this field but open to any and all suggestions
