Shooting

According to an article in the Daily Sun today a Villages high school student was shot while driving back from Tavares on highway 441 in Fruitland Park. Authorities would not release her condition but someone from the villages high school said she was treated and released. As a side note I never saw results from football game that would give details of the villages victory over Tavares. Thought it would be in todays sun.

I thought the Sunny only reported the opposite, scores not shootings? Wonder what prompted the shooting or did the article say?

The Fruitland Park police are investigating and mention in today's Villages Daily Sun A8 top right corner that they are investigating it and do not want to taint the case by releasing more information.

The Villages High School football team won.

Game and shooting may be totally unrelated.

I have not seen any update in the The Villages Daily Sun about this but do think they should be as careful as possible with any investigation especially when kids are involved.
