I had the pleasure of playing Bacall today and I must say that I’m very very impressed. The district did good on this and can’t wait for bogart to open soon. Go play you won’t be disappointed

Bacall Beautiful but 9th Hole Swamp Problem Not Addressed
 

I agree and living in Sab:crap2:al Chase, Bacall and Bogart are my "home" courses. I loved both of them before their reconstructive surgery and expect to love them even more now. The starter told me that Bogart is expected back by the end of October unless all the courses need to take time off following a hurricane's rainstorm we occasionally get here. The good news, Ken, is that I agree that holes 1 through 8 are absolutely terrific. I loved the way they simplified Hole #8 - filling in two of the three sandtraps. Positive if more subtle changes on holes 5 & 6. My big disappointment with the "new and improved" Bacall is that they didn't address the drainage issue on hole #9. It's still marshy on the fairway and almost impossible to stay dry if you hit it in the grass on the water side (side not near Canal Street), It's a shame because other than the wetness, 9 is a showcase hole.
