"As soon as my house sells"
 

This has got to be one of the most used phrases on TOTV, and I know, I still use/used it myself. For me, it reinforces the belief that I'll be there someday, and in a way, lets everyone know we want to be there. It makes me feel good that we have a plan and it's going to work. Our house is under agreement, so now I can switch over to "as soon my house closes" (although we won't be down for a month after). So, for the rest of my fellow "As soon as my house sells" members, any good news or vibes? Just keep on saying "as soon as my house sells", it worked for me, and you'll be able to say "as soon as my house closes". :thumbup:

I am more hopeful that my condo will sell with my new real estate agent. Goes on the market tomorrow and the REA thinks it will sell in three months.

For now, I would like to join you in going from a wannabe to a gonnabe.

I am happy for you that you can start planning your movie to paradise.

I am so with you guys! We got rid of our beach place in Panama City Beach the first of this month, which was step one. Next, we hope to get our house here on the market this time next year and plan to move to TV by July next year.

Positive thinking definitely helps. Being on TOTV helps with the positive thinking!! :ho:

We are two snowflakes waiting for the moment of "when our house sells," it's been on the market for about 8 weeks with no nibbles at all.
I guess it will happen when it's meant to happen...sigh.

"As soon as our house sells", "As soon as our house sells", "As soon as our house sells". It worked for Dorothy maybe it will work for us.

"As soon as our house sells and I find a job near by TV. "

My wife and I are in that category "as soon as my house sells". We have had our home listed since Jan. 8, 2011. No much activity at this stage. We will be visiting our good friends, the Stuppy's of Buttonwood April 10-15 to look at properities in that area. Can't move unitl house in Indiana sells. Hoping it will be very soon!!!!! We will also be attending the Kentucky Clubs next meeting. Go Cats!!!!!!

My wife and I put a plan together back in Nov. 2010, after a decision to move and finding a location where we would spend our retirement years with like minded people. TV was the perfect location!

We sold our home in 1 day after showing it to 3 couples, all submitted offers meeting our asking price! We were thrilled and it opened the door to our making TV our new residence. We moved into our new home here at TV 3-22. So if you have a dream, put together a sound plan, and work hard to make it happen. Good luck! :ho:

Congratulations laryb!!!!! My house on the Jersey shore has been on the market for 8 weeks now. So I will be moving to the Villages too 'as soon as my house sells.' :)
