The Villages Stats

Take a look at the statistics on TV for 2010.
Click on the link below.

Are these accurate?
Where would they get these? The census info out yet?

It gets confusing because of the way the stats are calculated. The portion located in The City Of Lady Lake are separated from the portion of TV in Sumter County and I suspect the portions in Marion and Lake Counties are also counted differently.

That can't be right...I've seen more people than that in the squares and Rocky and the Rollers were'nt even playing

No where near accurate unless they did the nose count on a really hot August day when all the snowbirds were gone. I thought I saw recently in The Daily Sun that our population was around 83,000 currently and going to 115,000 by buildout in 2015.

I can't imagine where they are getting the stats. Even if you did it by county. I would expect higher numbers.

This has to be a small portion of The Villages. If you read, it says 5.19 square miles. I'm in St. Charles and it's 10 miles to Lopez...I'm guessing TV is at least 3 miles, east to west, so that would be 30 square miles...

Not sure where they're counting . . .

Darn - I guess you can't believe all the :blahblahblah: you read on the internet!
