Warning - comcast scam
I just received this email and immediately called Comcast to report it. They have a team tracking it down.
They said they will never send you anything regarding your account via email. ----- Forwarded Message ----- From: "Comcast Billing" <billing@comcast.net> Sent: Friday, April 15, 2011 8:31:01 AM Subject: [URGENT] Billing Problem Comcast Ecobill Dear Comcast Customer, We were unable to process your last payment because some of your information was incorrect. When you hover your mouse over the link they provided in your original email (the one that says www.comcast.com here) and look down in the gray status line of your computer, did it point to comcast.com or some other nefarious address? On the copy/paste here the link does indeed point to comcast.com. |
