What was going on.....
 

Does anyone know? What was going on down by Colony Plaza today around 12:45? There was a helicopter in the field between Walgreens and Colony Pool and firetrucks in the street with people directing traffic. Didn't look to be an accident so wondering if they were doing some kind of practice. Though I did see someone unloading a gurney and wheeling it towards the street. Couldn't really "rubberneck" as the traffic needed to be moving right along and paying attention due to ALL the golfcart traffic and regular cars and trucks as well. Busy place that time of day!!!

That location is regularly used as a place for a helicopter to land to airlift people to hospitals when airlifting is called for. The accident or medical condition may have been miles away but the ambulance just takes them to this place to meet up with the helicopter.
