am reading a fabulous book written by my friend Col. John Corley, titled A House Divided. it is a genre called alternative history and his style is so engaging, the story captivating, it will appeal to both history buffs and fiction lovers....the premise is a man from the 20th century returns back in time to meet Robert E. Lee long before the Civil War....John is a Civil War expert and a military man so brings his own flavor to the novel...he has copies of his book, not officially released yet, and can autograph them for you. he can be reached at 703-989-9454. a great father's day gift for anyone! and there is a love story for us ladies, too! i highly recommend it...

A great review of the book, ChaCha. I just came across the post now, (almost 45 days after it was posted). I'd like to read John's book. Is there an estimated price. Can I get it on Amazon (although I'd rather get a signed edition from John.) I wonder how many published authors we have in TV. If I don't hear from you within a few days, I'll call John myself.

This sounds like the books that Turtledove writes and they are pretty good too. I will put it on my reading list.
