What is the difference when they advertise one car garage and then another ad will say one car garage and golf cart garage, Does that nean there was an addition put on? As they all seem the same size to me.

1-1/2 car is standard
 

The vast majority of CYVs have a 1-1/2 car garage - room for a car and a golf cart (some will take 2 golf carts in tandem). There are a few that have 2 car garages - our villa neighborhood has only 2 of those. A small car makes it a lot easier to get it into and out of the garage via the curved driveway. Many of our neighbors park their cars on the driveway. We seem to be one of the few who park the car and 2 golf carts inside just about all the time. Usually back it out first to let the passenger in the car, but can be done inside (but not if I gain any weight:).

I haven't seen any that have an extra golf cart garage, although I think I heard about one on a corner lot that had one added on in the back, through their gate somehow - I haven't seen it.

In other words when a cyv is listed they all have room for a golf cart.
