Documentary Transfer Tax
 
Can anyone tell me whether buyer or seller customarily pays the .70 per $100 documentary tax upon transfer of real estate? Thanks

In the transactions we've been involved in it's been charged to the seller.

The seller paid it on our TV resale purchase.
