Just had another nice shower here. There will be a break and later on, a bit more rain, though I'm not sure if the clouds will continue on their way to TV.

Very little so far I am afraid. There is a good spot of rain on the radar coming at us, but we have to hope it does not turn just south of us.

RichieLion 06-01-2011 11:57 AM

update: The sun is back, but the sky is noncommittal. Maybe more rain, maybe not.

Any rain in Mallory Square today?

Shimpy 06-01-2011 03:05 PM

Why is it that a few minutes of rain seems to do the lawn much better than hours of watering? Could it be what is or isn't in the natural rain?

Tornado Watch for CT

For all you nutmeggers out there.

A tornado watch has been issued for Southern Fairfied and New Haven Counties in CT until 8 PM tonight. What Joy!!!!!!!

I hope there is no damage just rain!!!!!!

So funny to see you all rejoicing over rain while we in the midwest have been cursed with too much!!!

Halle,

We are in Bonita - so not far. We had about 3 good showers - each for about 15 minutes,

Halle 06-01-2011 08:27 PM

Thank you so very much for your concern. I'm fine.

The tornado wound up in Springfield, western MA and the report is that 4 people were killed and 40 injured.
