texas holdem??
 

I am looking for which rec center has texas holdem... overheard a 2 guys chatting bout it yesterday at Panera, could not hear which rec center they were playing,,, said it was cheap game,, $10 for the afternoon,,,, anyone have any ideas where this is,,, if you dont want to post here,, PM me if you would,, I am sure they were talking about it being held at a rec center,, not at a private home...

Some of the games are:
1. Tuesday: 12:30 Alamanda Rec Center
2. Tuesday: 5:30 Lake Miona
3. Wed.: Laural Manor 6PM
4. Thursday: 5:30 Lake Miona
5. Friday: 12:30 Laural Manor
6. Saturday: 5:30 Laural manor
7. Sunday: 5:30 Laural Manor

There are others including Mallory, etc. but these are some which have
good games. Typically the buy in is $20 and there are no "re buys".
Player's get 18,000 in chips. They are all good games. New players are
welcome and if there is the person who is new the players will help them
learn and play.

Do they have a limit on the number of players that can play?....Typically the only constratint is the number of chips available??

How are the tables/players consolidated to get to the final table?
ie start with 3 tables of 8, then????

Also do most games play until a FINAL winner is determined or do they pay out the top 3 or 4 based on the number of chips each player hs when you are at that number

Several months ago, my wife and I were eating at Ci-Ci's and there was a game going on at one of the tables. I don't know if that was a one-time thing or a regular event.
