Approx how much does an RN make?
 

Approximately how much would an RN who works in a day surgery clinic in STL make per day? I am trying to figure out how much I would pay this person if she came to Florida for several weeks. I want this person to come and stay, but would not want her to not receive normal pay. I don't want to discuss this with her quite yet. Thank you . Pat

Hello there-- as a recent semi retired RN from STL myself and coming from a prominent medical center, I would expect she could earn upwards of $20-25.00 per hour. And this would also depend upon her years of service at the center. If she is at a free standing surgery center, not affiliated with a major hospital, the salary and benefits will be less for sure. I hope this may help you out. I can tell you that she won'tbe making this kind of salary here in Central Florida !!!!

You can do a search for salaries on the internet. Employment agencies usually list salaries and the Government (DOL) also has pay info.
