Closed on 5/31. Camped out for a week with 2 air mattresses, 2coffee mugs, and a coffee maker. Took mrs mulligan to the airport sunday to return to the great white north. Mover showed up Monday, and I'm knee deep in bubble wrap. All that being said, I'm really glad to finally be here. HI Y"ALL

Congrats, mulligan! As I've said many times... the best is yet to come.

We are going to build just east on you on the south side of the street. We're in TV this week to select the options and sign the papers. Last night we drove our cart through there and met a couple future neighbors. If we make it back there again before we leave, we'll ring your door bell.

We close on our Tamarind Grove villa July 5th. I'm doing the same thing right now but in reverse order, I'm putting the bubble wrap on. I never knew I had so many big pictures with glass fronts.

We'll actually spend five days in a motel because we should arrive June 30th but due to the holidays we can't close right away. See You Later

That's exactly what we did. Never gave a thought to memorial day when we set the closing.

We arrived in March. I understand the camping mode. We tore out the kitchen (resale). I was assigned to early arrival (wife very smart) to coordinate upgrades and painting.

Once you settle into your new home you will love it! One tip from experience. Do not allow yourself to create a "stuff" pile in the garage. That set us back 2 weeks because I swear that pile grows at night when the lights are off! Welcome to TV.

Sounds like more fun than waiting for the "house up north" to sell before you get move to TV.
