Popcorn removal and sheetrock work

The first project we did after closing on our preowned designer house was the

removal of our popcorn ceilings. We hired Rick Basile and his crew. The first

day they worked a 12 hour day, covering all the walls and floors with plastic,

scraped all the popcorn off, and applied the knock-down finish. Day two they

spray painted all the ceilings, removed all of the plastic, and did a super clean

up job. If you need popcorn finish removal or any other sheet rock work, I

wouldn't hesitate to call Rick @ 352-274-2396

PS. Rick's a helluva friendly, honest, and hard working guy.

Popcorn Removal Costs

Removal of popcorn and knockdown finish applied runs about a buck a square ft.

Our 1400 SF Bougainvillea was done for $1500, and another $500 to spray paint

all the ceilings. Would have taken us weeks to do the job, as compared to two

days. Luckily, the lanai was already finished with the knockdown when it was

enclosed. Didn't do the garage, but I can live with that for now.

May do it later on some day. Our home was empty which made work easier,

but everything was covered so well with plastic there was no mess left.

You'll have to talk with Rick about price if the house has furniture in it.

I helped out by removing all the fans, vents, and lights the day before, but

his crew replaced all of the lights and vents. I later put up new fans myself.

Hope this helps ya. Wow ! What a difference it made. Felt like a new home.
