We're Here In St. James
 

We closed on our house on Yankee Clipper run Thursday and arrived today to pick up our keys. We're camping out in the house tonight with an air bed, two camping chairs, and a TV with an antennae. We're picking up Fox and some spanish speaking stations. (I knew I should have paid more attention in my high school Spanish class.) It doesn't matter though. We couldn't be any happier or excited to be here and start making new friends.

We too closed last week on our home in Tamarind Grove! We'll get there in a couple weeks to get keys and look for "the basics"! Sounds like fun!

Leaving connecticut
 

I am leaving Friday morning from Connecticut, hoping to arrive in the Villages on Sunday to begin my new life also. I CANNOT wait. I have had the torture of renting out my house in the Village of Hemingway for the past three years until I could finally get down there. I am sooooo excited and also can't wait to meet new friends, start enjoying my life again and start the next phase of my life. Hope to meet and see you ALL.....

We're right behind you, B&T. As of Friday, our home on YCR (unit 151.41) has a foundation and three rows of bricks in place.

As far as making friends, St James is all about social activities!

Congratulations! We are closing on our home on Cape Cod the beginning of August and will be renting in Duval while our home is being built in St. James on Barksdale Drive. We hope to be in our new home by the end of November and are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors. Kevin & Linda

We are closing July 26th on our home on Yankee Clipper. We will be down for the closing, stay for about 10 days, without all of our stuff, then come back around August 23rd and officailly move in.

We close on our new Southwood Drive home on July20. Momma won't retire till November 1 so will be going back and forth from Chicago till the first of the year. NO MORE 8 MONTH WINTERS!!!
