Fore! Errant Golf Shot to the Head Saves Man's Life
 

In a neat little story it is reported that when pro golfer Sean O'Hair's errant golf shot hit spectator Chris Logan in the left temple it eventually saved his life. You see, while being examined by a doctor afterwards, the doctor noticed a lump on Logan's throat and advised him to have it examined, and Logan did. Turns out it was a malignant thyroid tumor. Logan had it taken care of and is now cancer free.

My wife says that most men need a smack in the head to get them to see a doctor. Seems she's right, as usual.

Baseball player John Kruck also had a fortunate accident, when he took a shot in the kahonies, and then found out he had testicular cancer. Saved his life.

No way am I letting anyone shot me again. Once was enough just to see if I have anything wrong with me. That little fellow in RVN convinced once was enough. I learned to see my DR regularly and the VA takes very good care of me.
