bathroom fans
has anyone with a lantana upgraded their bathrooms fans does it make a difference
|
I haven't upgraded our fan, however, I have a friend that has a Lantana and she's had a ceiling fan installed, smaller than the ones in the house, in the bathroom. It seems to help the shower dry out faster. The installation of a fan was recommended to us by the grout cleaning company that worked on our shower a couple of years ago. Not sure if you have a shower door or a walk in type shower. We have the walk in and fan placement on the ceiling will take a bit more work because of the location of the extra shower wall walk ins have.

thanks for the suggestion

I put a 30 minute timer on my bath fans. When I'm done I can leave them run for while and shut off automatically.

The same grout cleaning professional said if we couldn't put in a ceiling fan, then use a small fan to blow air into the shower to help dry it out. Our shower grout got so bad that even professionals couldn't get it truly back to white. We've since had the entire shower redone in Jettastone, a solid surface material. It was installed by Wildwood Kitchens and Baths...and we love it. No grout to worry about, shower is easy to "wipe down" with a window squeege (sp?) and the lighter color we selected helps lighten up the shower area. |
