Any basketball players?
 

My wife and I are very excited about becoming TV residents next month. We close on our house August 29th but will be staying in the area a couple of weeks prior to closing.

I am an avid half-court basketball player and was wondering if there were any organized leagues for basketball or if there are just some decent courts around for pick-up games?

Looking forward to meeting some of you folks when we arrive.

There is a very active basketball group that meets every Sunday morning at 9 at the high school gym, and Tu/Th at a gym in Oxford.

Just show up...bring a red and a navy blue/black shirt for the pickup games.

There is an outdoor half court at Colony Rec Center. Balls are in the equipment building there. I have seen people playing, but don't know if it is a league.

Thanks for the info guys. I look forward to being a part of the community and shooting some hoops. I'll definitely be at the Charter Scool gym on Sundays!

Do you know where in Oxford? During the day or evening? Men's?

Corner of 301 qnd 466. 8:30 to 10:30 Tues/Thurs am
Gotta run...water vb.

Tu/Th are in the church gym, 930-ish; same time for Sunday morning play in the high school gym.
