Phone App Question
 

I have a Droid Incredible android phone and would like to know if any of you have a weather alert app on your smart phone. I have an Ipod Touch and have Weather Alert for I phones. It's great and works well when I'm at home with my wireless network, but it doesn't work while we're in the car. It alerted me to some of the rather severe weather my son experienced in Chicago as well as nasty weather my sister was experiencing in MA just recently. It's like having a weather alert radio for other locations. I have my Ipod for Facetime with my son and his family...they all have Iphones. Not switching to Iphone since I still have a bit of time left on my contract. I've searched for such an app for android phones, but haven't had much success.

Pooh.... I'm using WeatherBug on my Droid X. I have several cities setup to give me weather alerts. Seems to work for me.

I have Weather Bug on my phone, also, Mike, thanks, but with the I phone app, you get a tone alert and then audio telling exactly what the alert, watch, warning is for. Happened to be awake the other morning around two and my Ipod started to beep, then I heard the voice telling about severe weather approaching Chicago....my son is currently working there. I guess it was pretty nasty, they got 7 inches of rain in a very short time!

Not sure if you have Netflix, but they now have an app for many Android phones. I phones and Ipods have had it for a while....and finally, so do some droids...picture me HAPPY!
