We brought too much stuff.
 

Does anyone know a church or charity that will come and pick up furniture for their needs or shops? Thanks.

Thank heavens for this forum. With all of the advice I read on here over the years about bringing too much stuff...we filled a whole truck for St.Vincent de Paul up North.

However.....I think we STILL may have kept too much.

Call to see if they want what you have.
They WILL pick up items that are too big for your car.
Anything else must be dropped off by you.
P.S. They accept clothing, household furniture and other stuff but NOT blinds or computers.

I would like to put a plug in for The First Baptist Leesburg Thrift Store. They operate the thrift store to help support their shelters for men, women, alcoholics, homeless families, etc. They will pick up your items and provide a tax receipt. You can reach them at 352 267-4533.
