It is wonderful to see the troops get respect from the Command in Chief.

Thank you Pres Obama:BigApplause:

Surprised he didn't say Marine "Corpse." It is good that he can make time from his busy schedule.

Actions speak louder than words every time. It's way to early to judge the performance of this Commander-In-Chief. Time will tell, and the actions of those who are under his command now and in the future will indicate the measure of his military leadership.

I have to commend you. For the first time (at least to my knowledge) your post has not been totally negative of our President. Bravo!

Hopefully when he retires from the presidency in 2013, he will keep a low, low profile.:beer3:

He will glide into the Chicago community and be up up and away forevermore.

I also am pleased and surprised by Richies gentle remarks. Good, bad or indifferent, he is the man of the hour and I do respect the position and have served under many Commander in Chief's with honor and admiration.

I question the motive of this thread. Seems like a copy cat of the one about President Bush on July 4th.
