It's Back to School Time
 
The schools outside of TV are in need of basic supplies for the many children who have very little.

Publix is once again having a very good sale on the basics; Crayons, pencils, notebooks, etc., and they have drop off boxes at the exits.

Next time you're in Publix, please take a minute, buy a few items and drop them in the box.

Make a child smile on the first day of school.

Thanks Gail, I didn't know what this program was, the cashier didn't explain it and had I know what a good cause it was, I would have done just that. The next time I shop, I will deposit some items in the box. Thanks for the explanation.

The good news is that the Publix sale on school supplies is extended through next Wednesday August 17.

Also this weekend is Florida's statewide sales tax holiday.
