Club repair

Today my Adams Pro Gold 8 iron snapped where the hosel meets the shaft, the graphite shaft itself appears to be OK. I've probably shot at least a 100 rounds with this set and I've never had anything like this happen before with any clubs. Does someone know a shop that can do club repair?

Palmer ProShop can help ..OR..Direct you to proper place. If it CAN'T be repaired you could go to the where the NEW Golf training facility will be ( by the fire station) near the new "Village of SANIBEL".... and throw it over the "big hill" .....into the DUMP that is back there.

Apparently the shaft broke off at the tip. It is an easy repair with a new shaft. Trying to reuse the old shaft is not reccomended as it will be shorter in the tip and club performance will change. Sometimes the glue bomd breaks and the shaft is intact and in that case it is a simple shaft epoxy job good as new.

Save the head and see if the folks at Palmer can reshaft it for you. (take the old shaft to them for a match).

You can not use the shaft if it broke off at the tip. That changes the flex and length. Reshaft is the way to go, look for make of shaft and what the flex was. You can usually find a shaft to match online and fix it. If you can wait I'll be down end of August and help you, if not I am sure the guys at Palmer can take care of you.

Thanks for all the info and offers of assistance. I think the most simple solution is I take the club by Palmer Club House on Monday.

There is a man at the golf shop near Target/Staples in the shopping
center off Rolling Acres Road who is the best at reshafting clubs.
I cant remember the name of the golf shop but I have had two clubs
reshafted by him and he knows exactly what he is doing. He knows
if he can fix it and, if he cant, he will advise you what to do.
If you go in there with a problem like that, they will make
sure he is the one who does the job.

I too have used the Palmer Pro Shop and found them to be customer focused and very knowledgeable. If you go to them you'll know the job is done correctly.
