.

i am glad you elaborated. I thought he was a south vietnamese prime minister but was not sure. The other thing the us kicked a couple of them out of office. I guess for being more loyal to themselves than to our war effort so i really do not remember which ones were good and which were not so good. So if this man was a fighter and a good supporter of what we were trying to accomplish . We should respect him and honor his passing.

South Vietnam Camelot

They were a good looking young couple when he came to power. I think he was still a colonel but did he become a general? He was dashing in his pilot uniform and so was his wife. Don't think they were corrupt but their reign did't last too long if I recall. May all who have fought in Vietnam and died including all the civilians, rest in peace.

He was the Commanding General of the Vietnamese Air Force with the rank of Major General and the title of Air Marshall. He was also Vice President of Vietnam under Nguyen Van Thieu from 1967 to 1971.
