Closed Today On Our New Home
 

Closed Today on our new home in TV.....Summerhill. We cannot wait until the day comes that we will be frogs. We have to wait till we sell our home in Michigan before we move.

Thanks for all your input ... I love this forum. We will be coming in Dec. for a couple of weeks and hope to meet some of you.

Congratulations!!! I used to live in Alpena..went to Alpena Community for a while. I lived off Werth Rd on Piper. Good luck on the sale of your house!

Congrats - Great area, convenient to everything.
I think you made a good decision buying north of 466.
When the villages is all built-out, your house will go up in value, while the homes south of 466 and 466a should hold, because now everything is pre-owned and whether it is 10 or 20 years old will not be a factor. At that age most all are upgraded with appliances etc.
That is my opinion - not what you will hear from people who bought in the other areas.

Hi Trish, We used to live on Partridge Pt. Rd on Lake Huron, Now we live on Noralin Dr. Also went to college in Alpena. Graduated in 1974..

Congrats as well. Went to Alpena for our 2-week annual training with the Air National Guard. But that was back in the mid through late 60's. Loved the area and the people!! Summers in Michigan can be as bad as down South, just not last as long. (We always went in mid to late June or early July every year.)

Hi, Thanks for the prayers, my husband retired from the guards in Alpena in 2002. He had 23 years in. Alpena is a nice small town but as you know the winters are cold....:cold: We cannot wait till our home sells we lowered the price allready so I hope this helps...

Will you be moving to TV right away when your house sells?
