Hi there Bunny and Welcome!

I suggest you go to Bargains and Treasures which is just past The Villages High School on 466. We took a table and chairs last week and they had more than usual and that is a LOT. Bargains and Treasure is a resale shop.

It is used furniture but they must not buy anything that looks at all used.
The upholstered furniture that I have seen there, and bought there looks like new. I think we "grown up" folks were taught to take care of things.

Someone told me once that they pick up four truck loads a day from people who bring their good stuff here and decide to change things after getting here. Almost everyone I know has bought things or sold things there.

(We deserve something new to us, don't we? ;) )

Hope this helps.

A few others, Furniture Barn in Fruitland Park, New 2 U also in Fruitland Park. Check the yellow pages under consignment shops when you can, there are quite a few. I agree with Grace, Bargains and Treasures is awesome and I think the best.

I've been to all those stores and found that Nearlee New Furniture on Hwy 27 about a mile south of 466A had the best furniture. I understand the owner is very picky about what they accept, in fact most everything in the store looked new.

We bought a great deal of our furniture at kane's in Ocala. They're a chain store that is 2 story and have a huge selection with pretty good prices. They on College Blvd just past Paddock Mall when coming from I-75.

I found Furniture Emporium in Leesburg on North Blvd early on. Got some great buys there.
