One guy does something you don't agree with (you and the Tea Party, incidentally) and you condemn all Republican's? Seriously?

No Richie... I don't... In fact that was really my point.

If you read some of my other comments you might understand what put me on this rant... I apologize to you because I do not condemn any republicans.

Well done Maxine. You go girl.

The truely frustrating aspect of this stuff is the lack of "Civil" discourse. Will the politicians ever get it that most people don't disagree with appropriate and intellectually honest argument over how the country should be run, but most are repulsed by the staged anger, accusations, and general mud slinging that is going to be with us throughout the election. I am already tuning them out.

You're headline for this original thread of yours is "Republican leaders have lost their mind......."

Words mean something, Angie. It specifically says "Republican leaders", not "A congressman for the state of............."

You either made a mistake, or are trying to spin it now that I pointed it out.

This is the best example of "civil" and INTELLIGENT discourse on this very topic:

Now there is a man I could vote for. We desperately need someone like him or Christie in the WH. Please Republican members of this board, speak out against Neanderthals like Perry, this party has talent out there that could do good things for this country. I am sure Perry is a nice Christian with good intentions, but this is 2011 and his old tired beliefs will not get him elected and will not solve this countries problems.

I think a better bet would be to vote for Obama and then vote in a congress that is willing to put the country first rather than party. The Republicans have stated from day one their first priority is to make Obama a one term president. I wish the Republicans first priority would have been to make our country stronger: Unfortunately, it's not.

Our country will heal and get stronger again when Obama and his ilk are voted out of office.
We healed ourselves after Carter did his one term worth of damage and we can do it again.

This isn't hate, just common sense.

So, you condone her uncivil behavior?

Let me take it one step further.

Janeane Garofalo and her liberal ilk, have said that the Tea Party is racists, even though there is no evidence.
Am I to assume that Waters is a racist? After all, they said it is a white person's party.

This is the crux of the problem. Republicans tend to believe that our nation cannot help our most vulnerable people and the unemployed when we are nationally bankrupt and wasting hundreds of billions of dollars in interest payments on the debt. In contrast, Democrats press for more printing of money out of thin air.

What happened to the ethics charges against Maxine Waters? Is she too going to get a standing oviation like Charles Rangel did after the Ethics committee censured him:cus:?

Marco Rubio has had my attention from the time I moved to TV. Chris Christie, Marco Rubio, Paul Ryan Mitch Daniels fit the profile of viable presidential candidates that could get us out of this mess.

The practice of referring to Tea Party members as racist or terrorist, etc is a concentrated effort by those opponents who recognize their power and cannot offer a cogent rebuttal for the Tea Party agenda. :boxing2:

Yes, it is one of Alinsky's rules. Ridicule when you have no reasonable answer.

It is also the lefties strategy when posting in political forums. Fortunately, personal attacks are discouraged on this forum. What a breath of fresh air!!!
