Speedy Link

Has anyone bought this thing? Does it work exactly as advertized?

What is speedy link and what does it do? Do you have a link to it you can post?

GeorgeT 08-29-2011 07:15 AM

Scroll down, it's a TOTV advertiser. It's supposed to increase the speed of your electric Club Car.

Here is a link. It is a device to enhance the performance of your golf cart.

Becareful speeding up your cart when I got the tag for my car the other day they tell me that if you are found going over 20 mph the fine is 350 dollars and they make an appointment for you to get the cart detuned if you will back to cart speed that could cost up to 700.00 .All though I guess you have to get nailed first. Dont think its worth it .

First post using a blkack berry, forgive typos

ThIs device is for club car iq models. If the speed code of the club car is set less than 4, the cart will go. Max of 15 mph

Speedy link is a simple to install device that fools the cotroller abouit the speed of the motor allowing the club car to go 19.6 mph

If the cart already goes 19.6 tge speedylink will have no affect

Phew, posting from a BB leaves a lot to be desired

Thanks all especially AJ for putting in the extra effort with your BB!

AJ is correct. I emailed speedylink last year about speeding my cart up to around 20 as top speed for me seems to be about 18.5. They replied that it would not speed up my cart and is good only if yout top speed is 14 or 15.
