VA clinic

My husband was in the service but we do not qualify for benefits, my parents said we can still go there and they will bill insurance. It would be so much easier for me to take him there where all doctors are under one roof then run all over town. Does anyone know about who can go to VA?? thanks dsned07@bellsouth.net

Thanks, I will check it out. We can afford to pay its just the convenience factor I was thinking about. Thanks again

I believe the question was - can a veteran use the VA Clinic if they don't qualify for VA benefits and let the VA bill their insurance (or Medicare)?

I don't believe the decision tree addresses this.

I don't believe so, but worth checking it out. I could be wrong.

Probably the best thing to do is call the clinic and ask them.

If you are in The Villages, just take your DD-214 up to the VA Clinic and talk to one of the eligibility clerks. They will tell you exactly what you need to know.

Lost ID card

My husband and I recently visited the VA center and he somehow lost his military ID card.
Has anyone found it or heard of someone else finding a military ID?

Love to hear from you if you did.
Thanks a bunch.

Is he retired military? If so, he will need a copy of his retirement orders and then go to the nearest military installation and he can get it replaced.
