Epoxy Garage floor contractors

I have reviewed the info under contractors and there is not much listed. I know there are people out there who put epoxy garage floor coatings down but I can't find any. Can all of you great people help me out with names of companies or individuals who do this? I want a really good epoxy that will last more than a couple of years and I am willing to pay for a high quality epoxy coating because I only want to do this once. Thanks all for your help.

We used Tim Miller for our garage. Honest, reasonable, on time, and did excellent work. I'll PM you his number.

Custom Ram Design does excellent work. They do the fantastic driveways with the unique designs and also do epoxy garage floors. They did both for me and I highly recommend them.

I as well had Tim Miller paint my garage floor at my new house in Buttonwood before we moved in. Did a great job! Three car garage $700.00.

For all you who say they have done this

Does anyone know if a painted drive or garage makes it slippier when wet. I got out of the car on a drive that was painted and seemed to slip a bit.:yuck:

Good question. And how about the puddles? Concrete absorbs water but paint stops absorbing?

Epoxy paint makes a very smooth finish, it will be slippery. I painted our current garage while the house was being built right before we moved in. It is a two step process: First you have to etch the concrete with a special etcher solution then wait several days without touching floor, then mix the two cans of epoxy paint and paint the floor. Like epoxy cement you mix the hardener in right when you are going to use it. Then let it get good and dry.

Are there any paint stores down there?

Try TCM Florida otherwise known as The Coating Masters. I have seen their article in the Village Magazine. It says they have a lifetime warranty. The number is 352-512-0826.

What is a lifetime warranty, really?

Is it MY lifetime, THEIR lifetime or my HOMES lifetime ???

Next time you buy something with a lifetime warranty, ask them.

Just one of life's little questions ????
