5 weeks in The Villages
 

Hi Villagers,

Betty and I would like to introduce ourselves and say hello. We moved to The Villages 5 weeks ago and we love it. We are renting in La Zamora for a year to get the lay of the land. We spent many years in Connecticut, and the last 5 in Rhode Island. As soon as we moved down, they got the hurricane!

We look forward to making many friends!

Congratulations on your move to TV. I will be there to join you shortly, 1 month. I know what you mean about the hurricane. I have so many people here in MD who just don't understand how I would want to move to FL with all the heat and hurricanes and I looked at them like they are nuts as we listened to the winds of Irene howl and the rains from Lee flood....:ohdear:
