Which hotel? Boca Raton Hotel and Club or Boc Beach Club
 

Just wondering if anyone has an opinion on these 2 resorts?
:undecided:We can't decide whether to go to Boca or Key West and stay at one of the Waldorf properties.

The Boca Raton Hotel and Country Club on the Intracoastal in Boca
 

is wonderful...there is a ferry (short ride) from the main hotel to the beachside. There are hotel rooms on the beachside as well. You are
probably aware it is fairly expensive for all of the services...but well
worth the price. Great food in the restaurants, room service, etc.,
You can play golf there, or they will transport you to a western Boca
Country Club which I think they own or are somehow partnered with.
There is great shopping around Boca...some very upscale thrift and
consignment shops, huge mall,...wonderful restaurants for lunch everywhere.
Key West is very laid back, often crowded. Just because I have
attended many events in both places, and lived in Boca, I'd choose
that over Key West. Plus, if you are an ocean swimmer, I believe
the beach is prettier and an easier swim in Boca, KW has rocks and seaweed
and water shoes are often advised. The two places are IMHO like night
and day. Have fun either way.
