Obama continues to lose ground - even Palin only behind by 5 points.

A new McClatchy-Marist poll finds that Obama is looking very beatable in next year's election, with a majority of voters believing he'll lose to any Republican. a solid majority saying they'll definitely vote against him. The poll also shows that most potential Republican challengers are gaining on him.

The largest gain in the poll came from Gov. Sarah Palin who was 20 pts. behind all year, but has now pulled within 5 pts. in the poll. The reason being she's is leading now with a sharp turnaround by independent voters.

By 52% to 38%, voters think he'll lose to the Republican nominee, whoever that is. Even among Democrats, 31% think the Republican nominee will win.

While most of the Republicans have gained on Obama, he still leads all of the announced candidates.

"His saving grace right now has to do with the fact that the GOP field has not yet demonstrated the appeal to capitalize on his weaknesses," said Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist College Institute for Public Opinion, which conducted the national survey.

The Republicans still need to get their act together and get behind a candidate that will draw and keep the independent vote. With Romney and Palin pulling that vote according to this survey, it remains a question of who that person will be.

Tomorrow's debate will be a bit interesting, I believe.

I agree with Forbes, but if I mentioned Perry all the libs would have gotten distracted from the issue. I've been behind Perry well before he announced his nomination and was itching for him to enter the race. None of the candidates have his charisma and ability to "speak to the people" as one of them.

There, now I've done it, so we'll see if this goes off into a tangent or if people want to talk about what Obama must do to reverse the trends.

It is clearly evident that B. Hussein Obama has not a clue. He apparently assumes that all he must do is read his speechwriter's words from his telepromptor and the problems will magically go away. After all, that's how he got elected. Empty words from an empty suit.

It is time for a real change and vote this bum out so we can save what's left of our country's dignity. We need to get the message out that Obama does not have our country in his best interests. Shallow words to shower out like Santa Clause throwing candy in a parade. And like decaying teeth, Obama will lead this country to ruin.

VOTE NOBAMA 2012

Well, since YOU brought up Perry....last time I heard him speak I could not tell if he was a presidential candidate or an evangelical preacher..... Since a president is supposed to represent everyone, not just christians, I don't find that a good thing. Someone's faith should be personal and private. The White House is not a pulpit.

There are several reasons I think he is a strange duck. I will vote for Obama if Perry wins the primary. There are several better qualified for the job ahead of Perry. It just seems the tea ******* and Republicans are hell bent on putting an extremist weirdo up for election. I won't be the only conservative to change parties if Perry is the one chosen.

Why do people continue to call the Tea Party "**********"? You people are quick on the finger to call someone a racist, yet you people continue to call people homosexuals. Not that there is anything wrong with that but I wonder how the homosexuals in the democratic party like hearing their own party call other people that name. It must make the homosexuals cringe when you leftists say that word. You lefties should be ashamed of yourself. Party of tolerance? I think not.

Well, apparently you know a lot more about the homosexual community and its residents than I do, so I will refrain from using that term as not to offend you homosexuals. But Perry is still an idiot and would be very bad for this country.

So, now you are calling me a homosexual. You will not sink too low, huh? I am not a homo. But if I were you I would be very careful about calling people that name. Not that there is anything wrong with that, understand, it is just some people get offended.

Then this time I misunderstood. I thought you said you were a homosexual. I never called you a homo as that is derogatory. When you use the term homo, it makes you sound like a bigot against homosexuals. Just tying to help. I apologize for mistaking you for a homosexual.

Apology accepted. I only shortened the word because I'm getting lazy and I have to be somewhere in a very short time. By the way in a form of shothand, I also use the word hetro.

CHEERS

It is the TEA PARTY. Got that. Use that term, I am tired of the constant bickering and use of the other word. TEA PARTY, enough said of that subject.

Now, Perry, an Open Borders, let anyone who is here stay. We don't need him. He is a CAREER, CORPORATION POLITICAN. Don't need that, we haved had several years and several Presidents and congresses that where all those things. None of the current crop of criminals would make a good pimple on a good Americans butt. Where is someone who will step up and do what is right for the American People, you know, you and me and the rest of the working class.

Villagegolfer, it's President Obama. Not B. Hussen Obama. President Obama. Like or dislike the man, your use of that phase is tiresome and worn out. Get over it, grow up and respect the office. I don't care how you feel about the man, respect the office and grow up.

Who the heck do you think you are talking to? I tried doing that for 8 years and it did me no good. I told the Bush haters that the next time a democrats gets in office I will use the same standards they used. I am only trying to hold up my end of the bargain. Capice?
